surrendering to the Allies, Belgium October 1944

Belgium, early October 1944. In the area northwest of Antwerp near the Dutch border, a small group of German soldiers is cut off from their unit. For days they are pinned down by the strong tension of the Allies. The attempts to break out and make contact with their unit, have failed. There is no other option left than to surrender to the British opponent.

They approach the British lines waving with white cloths, making clear that they wish to surrender.
Their weapons are already left behind, to avoid misunderstandings.

They are allowed to cross the British lines.
